The perception group are Body Eyes and Movement Lab (Led by experimental psychologists Ellen Poliakoff and Emma Gowen) and artist Antony Hall. ‘Experience in Action’ 2022 is a research project exploring movement and bodily perception in older autistic people and people with Parkinson’s. In both conditions, movement and coordination problems can be issues that have implications for mobility, independence and quality of life. Therefore, it is important to understand how movement is affected and under what conditions it may be improved to inform support and future interventions.
