Laura Negus is a Manchester based ceramicist, specialising in pottery for mental health and wellbeing. She brings a playful, experimental approach to material process often integrating traditional ceramic practice with new techniques. This translates to arts for health facilitation, allowing groups the freedom to explore, and play. Currently undertaking a ‘creative share’ residency, Laura is working with a group of ceramicists with learning disabilities at Pure Innovations. Learning from the group to produce a new body of work but also demonstrating new techniques.
