Making Bio-Concrete
Participants will experiment with different materials, some brought along especially and some foraged, to attempt to make an alternative material to concrete (which is one of the main producers of carbon dioxide).
With an emphasis on carbon capture for the 'aggregate', participants can test an array of biological binders for the 'cement'. The materials are then heated using a heat plate which plugs into the mains. There will be little display containers for participants to take their samples home with them.
