Antony Hall is an interdisciplinary artist and educator working between science and art. He has undertaken numerous commissions and residencies, and exhibited and performed internationally. Recent works have used fluid mechanics, light, kinetic and natural energy; to create multimedia installations, on themes of climate change and species decline. He was resident artist at Manchester Universities Fluid Mechanics Lab, and Manchester Natural History Museum. In 2006 he received an Arts Council International Artists Fellowship, with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and ENSAD Paris. Antony is a founding member of Owl Project, who won best of Manchester 2009 and received a major commission for the 2012 cultural olympiad. Most recently, he was awarded a scholarship by the NWCDTP for his current PhD project [2018-21] in the field of art and experimental psychology.
