Members of Para-lab stayed at Allenheads Contemporary Arts and Observatory for 3 days during the Perseids meteor shower. The environment surrounding the residency centre was investigated via multiple methods, along with observation of the meteor shower itself. Activities prompting discussions included modeling and firing natural clay, magnet fishing in streams near historical mine sites, identifying water sources and water collection, hunting for Tardigrades and other organisms, micrometeorite collection, observation and photography of the moon.
