para-lab facilitates collaborations between artists and scientists, working in parallel to, but independently of, research institutions. We provide a structure for collaboration through discussions, excursions and making sessions.

There are currently over 20 active participants, equally divided between artists and scientists, operating in several long-term working groups.

para-lab was founded, and is directed and coordinated, by Annie Carpenter and Andrew Wilson.
